This bibliography examines literature in English for young people concerning the Indian subcontinent and associated areas, including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. It presents the perspectives of authors native to the region as well as non-native authors, and reflects the rich folklore and traditional culture of the subcontinent, its checkered history, and modern challenges.
